Search for a Test

Looking for a specific allergen – peanut, milk, cat dander, grass pollen, wasp venom? Search our full test menu by name.

Respiratory & Hay Fever Tests

Identify the pollens, house dust mites, pet dander and moulds behind hay fever, allergic rhinitis and allergic asthma. Component-resolved testing can show whether your symptoms reflect a true primary allergy or harmless cross-reactivity – useful when planning treatment such as immunotherapy.

Food Allergy Tests

IgE blood testing for the foods that most often trigger immediate reactions – peanut, tree nuts, milk, egg, wheat, soya, fish and shellfish, plus fruits, vegetables and spices. Molecular (component) testing helps gauge whether a reaction is likely to be mild or severe.

Venom & Component (LALV) Tests

Component-resolved testing for bee and wasp venom allergy. Measuring individual venom molecules – such as Api m 1 for honeybee and Ves v 1 and Ves v 5 for wasp – helps tell genuine sensitisation from cross-reactivity, guiding safe and accurate venom immunotherapy decisions.

Lactose & Gluten Intolerance Tests

Genetic testing for an inherited predisposition to lactose intolerance and for the genetic markers associated with coeliac disease and gluten intolerance. A simple way to investigate ongoing bloating, abdominal discomfort or digestive symptoms after dairy or wheat, barley and rye.

Stool Tests

Remote stool testing for digestive health concerns, including screening for Helicobacter pylori. Collected discreetly at home and returned to our laboratory, with results reviewed by our specialists.

ALEX³ Comprehensive Test

Can’t decide, or have multiple or unclear symptoms? The ALEX³ Allergy Test screens up to 300 food and airborne allergen extracts and molecular components from a single sample – one of the most comprehensive IgE panels available.

How Testing Works

Ordering a test takes a few minutes, and the process is the same wherever you live in the UK:

  1. Choose your test from the categories above or by searching, and pay securely online.
  2. Receive your kit by post with full instructions and prepaid return packaging.
  3. Collect your sample – a simple finger-prick at home, or a venous sample at our London clinic if you prefer.
  4. Return it to our accredited laboratory in the prepaid envelope.
  5. Get expert results – typically within 7–10 working days, reviewed and interpreted by a specialist allergy consultant.

Antihistamines do not affect blood test results, and no fasting is needed. For children, a parent or guardian can collect the sample at home if they feel confident doing so; otherwise we recommend it is taken by a trained healthcare professional. Samples can be collected at our London laboratory for an additional fee, and elsewhere in the UK a local healthcare professional can take the sample by finger prick, heel prick or from a vein.

Blood-based allergy tests detect sensitisation rather than confirming a clinical allergy on their own, which is why every result is interpreted alongside your symptoms. Always discuss your results with a healthcare professional before changing your diet or medication.

Important: Allergy testing is not for emergencies. If you or someone else has signs of a severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) – difficulty breathing, swelling of the throat or tongue, faintness or collapse – call 999 or go to A&E immediately. Arrange testing once recovered.
