Taking an Allergy Test

When taking an allergy test, you have several options depending on your symptoms, preferences, and location.

You may choose to visit one of our clinics for an appointment with a specialist allergy consultant. During this visit, your symptoms will be discussed in detail and appropriate testing and treatment recommendations will be made.

Alternatively, you can request the ALEX molecular allergy test, a comprehensive component-resolved blood test that screens up to 300 food and airborne allergens from a single finger-prick blood sample.

If targeted testing is more suitable, you may also request individual allergy tests, which are carried out one by one after your blood sample has been collected and analysed in the laboratory.

For added convenience, we also offer a home blood sample collection kit, allowing you to provide your blood sample in your own time.

Home Sample Kit – Important Information

If you choose the home sample kit option, testing is limited to a maximum of three allergens per order. Additional allergens cannot be added to the same cart.

Please also note that a non-refundable £58 laboratory handling fee is applied at checkout. This fee covers the laboratory costs associated with processing your blood sample and is charged once per order.
